Dan Michael Duby, 63, of St. Anne, passed away Saturday (Nov. 24, 2018) at his home, following a short illness. He was born June 2, 1955, in Kankakee, the son of Donald and Charlene Bowers Duby, the third of four children.
Dan graduated from St. Anne Community High School. He was a dairy and livestock farmer. He loved his antique car, attending car shows and receiving awards and trophies, as well as hunting. He will be remembered as one who was always willing to help others.
Dan is survived by his mother, Charlene Duby, of St. Anne; sister, Lana (Marshall) Coppotelli; brother, Darrel Duby; sister-in-law, Kelly Duby; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Duby Sr.; and brother, Donald Duby Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne, where funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday. The Rev. Mike Seed will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Anne Township Cemetery in St. Anne.
