2 men killed in Philadelphia street shooting; motive unclear
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A street shooting in Philadelphia has left two men dead.
The shooting in Kensington occurred around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say police responding to the scene found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the head and took him to a hospital, where he died a short time later. A 26-year-old man who was shot at least once in the chest was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle but he also died from his injuries.
Their names have not been disclosed.
Further details about the shooting were not disclosed, including what type of weapon was used or how many shooters may have been involved.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
