Watertown Elks to serve free Christmas dinners

December 18, 2018

The Watertown Elks Lodge will once again be providing Christmas dinners this year for those in need.

Dinners will be served at the Elks Lodge, 117 N. First St., from noon-1 p.m. on Christmas Day. Reservations are not required.

For those who are unable to attend the dinner, meals will be delivered free of charge and can be arranged by calling Barb or Joel Rosenow at 261-1538 by noon on Saturday.

The meal will consist of a complete traditional Christmas dinner with side dishes. It is not necessary to be a member of the Elks Lodge to receive a free meal. These Christmas dinners are provided by the Elks Lodge as a community service and intended for shut-ins, the needy or elderly.

This year marks the 32nd year the Watertown Elks have sponsored their annual Christmas dinner program. Over this period of time, the Elks have served or delivered approximately 11,650 dinner meals within the local Watertown area.
