CINCINNATI (AP) _ So far, it’s a no-decision for Kenny Rogers.

The Texas Rangers pitcher was still making up mind Sunday on whether to waive his no-trade clause and accept a deal to the Cincinnati Reds.

``The first inclination is to stay here because it’s home, but I’m not trying to lean either way right now,″ Rogers said after Texas’ 7-3 win in 12 innings over Oakland. ``We’ll talk about it tomorrow.″

Rogers said he plans to speak to his family and the Reds before making his decision.

Cincinnati wants to send a package of prospects to Texas for the left-hander.

The Reds, who recently acquired Ryan Dempster from Florida to boost their rotation, were eager to get Rogers. Cincinnati is 3 1/2 games behind St. Louis in the NL Central.

``I’ve got my fingers crossed,″ Reds general manager Jim Bowden said before Cincinnati’s 9-1 win over with the New York Mets. ``He should let us know before his game starts. He said he would.″

Rogers, 37, is in the last year of a three-year contract. He is 10-5 with a 3.39 ERA this season.
