HUNTINGTON — As summer draws closer, so too does the 2019 college football season.

That means projections, predictions and preseason accolades are being handed out over the next several weeks in anticipation for the upcoming season.

After a nine-win season in 2018, Marshall University has many eyes looking toward it as a team to watch in Conference USA. Earlier this week, Athlon Sports announced early individual accolades with its 2019 Preseason All-Conference USA team.

Marshall found itself with nine players honored on the four

teams, tied with Florida Atlantic for third-most in the league. The Herd was led by senior center Levi Brown and senior defensive tackle Channing Hames, who were both named as first-team selections.
