Chrysler Sets Prices on New Ram Club Cab Pickup
CHELSEA, Mich. (AP) _ Chrysler Corp. rolled out its new extended-cab pickup truck Monday and announced base prices that range from $17,716 to $23,960 for the six-passenger vehicles.
The 1995 Dodge Ram Club Cab trucks went into production June 6 at Chrysler’s Saltillo, Mexico, assembly plant and should be in dealer showrooms by July, Dodge Truck product chief Bart McLellan told reporters at the company’s proving grounds in Chelsea.
Chrysler introduced its redesigned Dodge Ram pickup for the 1994 model year, and demand for the vehicles has outrun the company’s capacity to build them.
Chrysler sold about 20,000 Ram pickups in May, more than tripling the total from a year ago, before the model change.
