Massachusetts gas price drops by another penny
BOSTON (AP) — There’s some good news for Massachusetts residents planning a late-summer road trip.
AAA Northeast reported Monday that the cost of a gallon of self-serve, regular gasoline dropped a penny in the past week, to an average $2.04.
The price is eight cents lower than the national average and 44 cents lower than the price in Massachusetts a year ago.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.89 per gallon and as high as $2.49.
