NEW YORK (AP) _ The United States is grouped with Canada and Honduras in the final round of Olympic qualifying from soccer's North and Central American and Caribbean region.

In the final round of qualifying tournament, played at Hershey, Pa., the Americans face Honduras on April 21 and Canada on April 23. The other group includes Guatemala, Mexico and Panama.

The top two teams in each group advance, and the winners of the semifinals on April 28 qualify for the Sydney Games in September.

In addition to Australia, which has an automatic berth as the host, eight nations have qualified for the 16-team tournament: Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Japan, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria and South Korea.

New Zealand and South Africa are in a playoff for another spot, and the final four teams will be determined at Europe's Under-21 Championship, to be played May 27 to June 3 at Bratislava, Slovakia.

Olympic men's soccer generally is limited to players under 23, but each team may use three wild-card players over the age limit.
