Finlay 63, Lambuth 13
JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) _ Bo Hurley had 38 yards and three touchdowns, while Troy Peterson rushed for 117 yards and two TDs, as Finlay rolled over Lambuth 63-13 Saturday in the NAIA Division II semifinal game.
The Oilers (10-1-1) will face Mary Central Washington (10-3) in the championship game, date and time to be announced. Lambuth finishes the season 10-1-1.
Finlay racked up 28 points in the first half on 2- and 1-yard runs by Hurley, a 1-yard TD run by Bill Yeager and a 10-yard touchdown pass by Hurley to Ben Dils.
Finlay opened the second half scoring on a 2-yard TD run by Troy Pearson.
Lambuth finally got in the game when Cory Hill threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Chris Miller. The extra point attempt failed.
Hurley added another touchdown for Lambuth on a 14-yard run, Pearson scored on a 6-yard dash and Contrell Johnson added another touchdown on a 2-yard run.
Jeff Peterson scored Lambuth’s final touchdown on a 2-yard run.
