FLORENCE, Italy (AP) _ Returning after a two-month absence because of injury, Roberto Baggio scored twice against his former team Saturday to lead Brescia to a 2-2 tie with Fiorentina.

Baggio, sidelined since December with leg problems, scored in the fifth and 67th minutes of the Italian league game. Enrico Chiesa and Nuno Gomes scored for Fiorentina.

Baggio’s second goal, which tied the score, came on a free kick from just outside the penalty area. His shot froze goalkeeper Francesco Toldo and bounced off the crossbar and into the net.

Fiorentina nearly won the game when Alessandro Pierini knocked a header off the crossbar with two minutes to go.

Fiorentina has three losses and three ties in its last six games. Brescia temporarily moved out of a three-way tie for the final relegation spot.

In a night game, fourth-place Atalanta was home against last-place Bari.
