Third person held on bond in Rochester man’s death
The third person charged in the shooting death of a Rochester man last month is being held on $1 million unconditional bond.
Darien Kristopher Klindworth-Woods, 19, is being held following his first appearance in Olmsted County District Court Tuesday. He is facing two counts of second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of Brandon Arndt.
Arndt, 38, was found shot in the head Sept. 10 at the rear door of the manufactured home where he lived at Bob’s Trailer Court, 1915 Marion Road SE, lot 14.
Klindworth-Woods’ half-brother, 27-year-old Malcolm Jammal Woods, is being held on $2 million unconditional bond. A cousin, Kielah Shanae Parsons, 34, is being held on $500,000 unconditional bond. The two are also facing second-degree murder charges.
The three allegedly killed Arndt over concerns that he mistreated their elderly grandmother who was hospitalized less than a day before Arndt’s death. Police said they spoke with the woman and found no wrongdoing on Arndt’s part.
Klindworth-Woods’ next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 16.
