May 16, 2019

MALTA – Kishwaukee College announced a new program for students to receive a bachelor’s degree in partnership with Iowa Wesleyan on Monday.

According to a news release from the college, the program, dubbed “3 + 1,” allows Kishwaukee College students to transfer three years of credits to Wesleyan, and will complete the fourth year online, letting them earn a bachelor’s degree while remaining local.

Kishwaukee College offers associate degrees and professional and trade certifications, but does not have its own baccalaureate program.

Students participating in the 3 + 1 program can earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, human services or business administration with a concentration in management.

Kishwaukee College President Laurie Borowicz and Iowa Wesleyan Provost DeWayne Frazier co-signed an articulation agreement, the release said.
