CLEVELAND (AP) _ Jeff Nordgaard scored 23 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to its 15th straight win Thursday night, beating Cleveland State 74-48.

The Phoenix, 17-2, remain undefeated in nine games in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference. Nordgaard came in averaging 23.7 points. He made 9-of-14 from the field.

Wisconsin-Green Bay's Eric Jackson, who scored 14 points, opened the scoring with a 3-pointer, and the Phoenix led the rest of the game as Cleveland State fell to 5-13 and 3-6 in the conference.

Derrick Zeigler led the Vikings with 13 points. No other Cleveland State player reached double figures.

The Phoenix connected on 15 of their 23 shots, or 65 percent, in the first half. Wisconsin-Green Bay led 37-24 at halftime.

The second half began as did the first, with Jackson hitting a 3-pointer. Wisconsin-Green Bay led by as many as 29 points in the final minute.

Cleveland State shot 33.3 percent, while Wisconsin-Green Bay made five of their eight 3-point tries and shot 61.4 percent from the field for the game.
