HUNTINGTON — West Huntington will host a presentation Friday that aims to inspire community revitalization and development through the arts.

The Create Your State Tour will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Alias14W, which is located at 720 14th St. W.

The free event is a multimedia musical performance, educational presentation and workshop that will tell the story of an arts-driven community transformation happening in Princeton, West Virginia. Focus on the arts is helping reclaim abandoned buildings in the Mercer County community, making it into an “arts district” to attract businesses and tourism. The presentation will be given by Lori McKinney and Robert Blankenship, two arts entrepreneurs who are leading the Princeton efforts.
