Bay Area Christian falls to Woodlands Cooper, 55-26

Bay Area Christian performed well in the first quarter, but couldn’t slow down The Woodlands John Cooper thereafter, falling 55-26 in a non-district football game Friday night.

The Broncos trailed only 14-13 with 2:49 in the first quarter. BAC’s DeCapprio Selexman scored on a 4-yard run and then returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to keep the Broncos close.

The Dragons, though, eventually opened a 41-20 lead by halftime. BAC’s other first-half score came on a 7-yard pass from Jackson Collins to Payton Deegan.

The Broncos’ final touchdown came with 3:11 left in the game when Jacob Duran connected on a 15-yard pass to Brennan Winter.
