LITCHFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut are investigating four deaths in the past two weeks that may be linked to heroin overdoses.

Authorities said Saturday the deaths took place in Litchfield County and suspected heroin paraphernalia were found at each scene. It's not known whether the narcotics were contaminated with any other substances.

Connecticut State Troopers and detectives from the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime unit are investigating the deaths. They are urging people to call 911 immediately if they or someone they know exhibits symptoms of a narcotic overdose.
