Car struck in restaurant parking lot

Somerset Borough police were dispatched at 5:33 p.m. Nov. 2 for a report of an accident in the Eat’n Park parking lot.

Police were advised that a vehicle driven by William Revello, 90, of Somerset, crashed into a parked vehicle with such force that it pushed the other vehicle over the curb and onto North Pleasant Avenue. The parked car struck two occupied vehicles driven by Christopher Rademaker, 52, of Hibbs, and William Henderson, of Coplay, police said. Two of the vehicles were occupied by passengers.

Police did not report any injuries. The investigation is continuing.

Police investigating fraud

Robert Gohn, of Somerset, told Somerset Borough police on Nov. 2 that someone had attempted to open a Best Buy card in his name and charge $10,000. He also reported that his wife’s phone number was stolen and someone out of state used her phone number under a different carrier. Police are investigating.
