Araceli Lopez scored 3 goals as Greater Lowell Tech defeated Essex Tech, 8-6, in a Commonwealth Athletic Conference girls lacrosse game.

In a New Hampshire girls lacrosse game, Pelham beat Derryfield, 11-7.

GIRLS

GREATER LOWELL TECH 8, ESSEX TECH 6. Chanda Wallace and Madison Hamilton potted 2 goals each as the Gryphons improved their record to 9-7. The 9 wins is the most in a single-season in the seven-year history of Greater Lowell’s girls lacrosse program.

Athenna Mao netted 1 goal, while Julia O’Keefe (10 saves) had a strong game in goal.

PELHAM 11, DERRYFIELD 7. Olivia Gagnon paced the Pythons’ attack with 4 goals.

Abbie Patchen and Jordyn Galgay potted 3 goals each while helping Pelham improve its record to 9-3.

Jill Schwab scored 1 goal.

LOWELL 17, BURLINGTON 4. Kaleigh Dunham netted 9 goals as Lowell topped Burlington in a non-league game that was played on Thursday.

Lilly Diamantopolous potted 3 goals and had 1 assist, while Caetryn Gilreath scored 2 goals.

Casey Mitchell notched 1 goal and 2 assists and Abigail Mitchell had 1 goal and 1 assist.

Elizabeth Tighe scored 1 goal, while Sarah Abraham and Nora Funaro had 2 assists each.

WINDHAM 20, ALVIRNE 5. Dominique Milinazzo scored 3 goals and won 5 draw controls for Alvirne.

Hailey Ramalhinho potted 2 goals, and Kendall Lawson made 4 saves in goal.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 14, HAVERHILL 1. Caroline Affolter scored 4 goals while leading Central Catholic past Haverhill in an MVC game.

Carly LaFerriere scored 1 goal and had 4 assists for the Raiders, who are 8-5 overall and 7-3 in the MVC.

Olivia DeLonais netted 2 goals.

GROTON-DUNSTABLE 14, SHREWSBURY 12. Julia Stathis potted 6 goals while powering Groton-Dunstable past Shrewsbury.

Abby Eisenklam checked in with 2 goals and 2 assists for the Crusaders (5-7).

Hannah Wynn tallied 2 goals and 1 assist, while Riley Eldredge netted 2 goals.

BOYS

TYGNSBORO 21, LOWELL CATHOLIC 3. Tucker Carmichael led the way on offense with 5 goals and 1 assist as Tyngsboro pounded Lowell Catholic in a non-league game.

Josh Fairbanks tallied 3 goals and 3 assists, while Tyler Maille and Zach Savoie netted 3 goals each for the Tigers (13-2).

Kyle Williams chipped in with 2 goals and 2 assists, and Mitch Anderson scored 1 goal and dished out 2 assists.

Tyngsboro goalie Dan Paulauskus made 10 saves.

SHREWSBURY 10, GROTON-DUNSTABLE 9. Nathan Townsend was a force on offense for Groton-Dunstable (3-10), finishing with 3 goals and 1 assist.

Alex Ciani scored 2 goals and had 1 assist.

Aiden McDonough won 19 of 21 on faceoffs, while Declan Nash (17 saves) had a strong game in goal.
