December Events at Eagle House

Tuesday, Dec. 4

9-11 a.m.: Learn how to take an ordinary rock and paint unique, intricate and calming patterns, and change it to your own personal Mandala; RSVP.

1:30 p.m.: Ageless Grace on DVD demonstrates simple exercises to utilize strategic thinking, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination, and kinesthetic movement.

Thursday, Dec. 6

9 a.m.: Play Pickle Ball at T.C. Elementary School, 1025 Massachusetts Ave., Lunenburg. Play with paddles on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net.

10 a.m.: Living Better Living Longer presents Michelle Desseta of GVNA HealthCare talking about aging in place.

12:45 p.m.: Friday movie is “I’ll See You in My Dreams.”

10 a.m.: Living Better Living Longer presents sharing favorite recipes.

9-11 a.m.: Nashoba Associated Boards of Health will be onsite conducting blood-pressure checks and answering general health questions you may have; drop in.

10-11 a.m.: Living Better Living Longer presents “Quick and Easy: Soups.”

Friday, Dec. 28

10 a.m.-noon: Memory Cafe for individuals living with dementia and their caretakers. This month features classical acoustic guitarist Bob Conroy.

12:45 p.m.: Friday movie is “Lovely Still.”

Monday, Dec. 31

Noon: New Year’s Eve Party featuring a catered meal by Il Forno, Frank Sinatra impersonator George Lyons, and trivia with prizes. Tickets are $5; RSVP.
