Police find missing City of Wilson employee at family member’s home

A City of Wilson employee reported missing by family members was located Sunday morning.

On Saturday around 9 p.m., family members of Troy A. Davis, 48, told Wilson police that he had been missing since Friday night. Family members told police they believe Davis is a harm to himself, according to a press release.

Davis was located at a family member’s house unharmed on Sunday, according to Wilson police.

Davis is employed as development director with the Wilson Housing Authority. During his disappearance, family members were worried that Davis could be in possession of several firearms.

No other information was released.
