QUINCY JONES GETS HANDS EMBEDDED IN CEMENT AT LA’S CHINESE THEATER

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Quincy Jones had some serious hand-washing to do yesterday — but it was worth it. He had to scrub up after placing his hands and feet into cement outside the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. Guests at the ceremony included musicians Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Usher — as well as Jones’ daughter, Rashida. Quincy Jones is best known as the producer of Michael Jackson’s classic album, “Thriller” — which has sold 33 million copies, the most by a solo performer.
