FAIRFIELD — Jonathan Kasibabu scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Fairfield University men’s basketball team to a 77-59 win over Niagara in MAAC action Monday night at Alumni Hall.
Kasibabu, who has four double-doubles in the last seven games, scored 14 of his points in the second half. Neftali Alvarez scored 15 points while Jesus Cruz added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Stags (4-11). Aidas Kavaliauskas had a game-high 10 assists for Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD — Adrianne Hagood and Olivia Dabney each posted new career highs in points to lead the Pioneers over the Blackbirds.
Hagood led Sacred Heart’s offense with a game-high 26 points, including five-three pointers, while Dabney, a sophomore, scored nine points. Katherine Haines and Candice Leatherwood joined Hagood in double figures in scoring for the Pioneers (6-7, 2-0 NEC) with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Sacred Heart took the lead for good on a free throw by Haines with 4:41 left in the first quarter and pulled away with a 10-0 run to close out the frame with a 24-13 advantage.
Brandy Thomas had 16 points to lead three players in double digit scoring for the Blackbirds (1-12, 0-2).
