NEW YORK (AP) _ Freshman guard Jan Espinosa scored a season-high 28 points and St. Francis, N.Y. rallied for a 74-65 victory over Rider on Wednesday night.

Richard Lugo added 14 points, 11 blocked shots and nine rebounds for the Terriers (11-11, 6-8 Northeast Conference), who trailed 41-30 at halftime.

Derrick Terry led the Broncs (12-10, 9-5) with 13 points, one more than Charles Dimitri.

Rider, behind eight points by Dimirtri, used a 15-4 run over the final 5:10 of the first half to take the 11-point lead. St. Francis trailed 53-45 on a basket by Dimirti with 10:23 to play and then went on a 16-1 run to lead 61-54. Espinoza scored seven points in the run, including the layup that capped it with 5:43 to go.

Angel Castillo and John Thomas each had 13 points for the Terriers.
