Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures projected to have huge positive economic impact
Local business owners and Montgomery County officials are expecting Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures to provide more depth and diversity to the East Montgomery County economy.
Members of the business community no longer have to anticipate its economic impact as the waterpark will finally be open to the public today. It is located at the intersection of Hwys 59 and 242 in Montgomery County.
Big Rivers is a first of its kind development in the East Montgomery County area. The waterpark is part of the $1 billion amusement park-anchored development called Grand Texas that will feature shopping centers, Speedsportz Racing Park, Grand Texas Theme Park and multi-family and single-family residence developments at buildout.
