Housing company opening in Odessa
Copious Creations, a company providing custom housing and containers, which they say will help to solve the ongoing housing shortage in the city, is hosting its grand opening this Thursday.
The grand opening will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at 4609 Rasco Ave., near 42nd Street and County Road West. They provide low-income housing like modular container homes, as well as employee camps, calling them affordable alternatives for both business and personal dwellings.
“With today’s increasing demand for housing in the Permian Basin this is a great solution for both corporate and personal needs,” Copious Creations Co-Owner Matthew Boden said in a prepared statement.
Copious Creations has worked since its inception with Chosen Ministries through Midland-based Teen Challenge, who help individuals with problems such as substance abuse. Chosen Ministries gives these individuals general life skills through a construction-based work program, a news release stated.
“It’s a dream come true for us to be able to pair with such a wonderful organization and at the same time be able to provide a needed service to my hometown,” Copious Creations Co-Owner Angi Wright-Webb said in a prepared statement.
