Sargent Named Lowell High Girls Basketball Head Coach

November 17, 2018

LOWELL -- Dan Sargent, a 2004 Lowell High graduate, has been hired as the new girls basketball coach for the Red Raiders.

Sargent, who replaces Brian Myers, was formerly the head coach at Tyngsboro High School.

“We are very excited to have Dan as our new girls varsity basketball coach,” said LHS athletic director Dave Lezenski. “He will be a tremendous asset to our entire Lowell community. Dan has a great basketball mind and is an outstanding teacher in the Lowell Public School system.”

“I value greatly my experience as a student-athlete at Lowell High School and could not be more excited to return,” said Sargent. “The Merrimack Valley Conference is as good as it gets in Massachusetts and I cannot wait to get started.”
