Marla McLachlan Anderson

October 10, 2018

1975-2018

Marla, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, left this earth life October 6, 2018, to escape her suffering and find healing in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. She was born June 5, 1975 in American Fork, Utah, and the 7th child to Scott and Julie McLachlan. She was a single mother trying every day to teach, care and provide for the children she was so proud of, and loved so dearly. She attended MATC where she received her degree as a medical assistant. She was full of love, compassion, and acceptance, always taking in any down trodden furry creature that found their way to her door. She had a way of seeing the world with childlike wonder and amazement. She loved sharing this with her family and was especially excited when she could share these moments with her children. She had a smile and laugh that could warm any room or brighten any cloudy day. She made friends easily, because of kindness and empathy. There are no words to express the depth to which she will be missed.

She is survived by her parents Scott and Julie McLachlan, brothers Scott McLachlan Jr., Josh McLachlan, sisters Lynette Hubbard, Ann Johnson, Diana Kunze, and children Daigon, Drake, Dylan Anderson and Isabella Nelson.

Proceeded in death by her grandparents Norman and Gwendolyn Schenk, William and Ida McLachlan, brothers Owen and Ervin McLachlan, and nephews Christopher and Cole Johnson.

A viewing will be held Friday, Oct 12 at Wing Mortuary 118 E Main Street Lehi from 6-8 pm.
