Houston designers to inspire at Access Design event
The Houston Chronicle and Houston Design Center are kicking off the 2019 edition of their quarterly Access Design events with two days of inspiring design speakers.
From 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, in a Design Happy Hour setting, join interior designers Lindsey Herod and Chase Dowell in the Leisure Collections showroom (152) at the design center. At 4 p.m., Herod, of Lindsey Herod Interiors, will talk about “Creating Happy in Your Home.” At 5 p.m., Dowell, of Chase Dowell Interior Design, will talk about “Mastering the Master Bedroom.” Wine and light bites will be served.
From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Cindy Aplanalp Yates, Amanda Mahle and Connie LeFevre will talk to guests from LeFevre’s Design House Showroom (115). Aplanalp Yates and Mahle, both from the Chairma Design Group, will talk about “Budgeting for a Beautifully Completed Interior” at 10 a.m. LeFevre, an interior designer and owner of the Design House and Fabric House showrooms, will talk about “Interior Design Inspirations for 2019” at 11:15 a.m. Coffee and light bites will be served.
