Everbridge: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Everbridge Inc. (EVBG) on Tuesday reported a loss of $9.8 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 33 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, were 9 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 11 cents per share.
The software developer posted revenue of $41.8 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $41 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $47.5 million, or $1.63 per share. Revenue was reported as $147.1 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Everbridge expects its results to range from a loss of 19 cents per share to a loss of 18 cents per share.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $42 million to $42.3 million for the fiscal first quarter.
Everbridge expects full-year results to range from a loss of 29 cents per share to a loss of 26 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $195.1 million to $196.6 million.
Everbridge shares have risen 13 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $64.26, an increase of 92 percent in the last 12 months.
