Rojas, Hawk off to slow start at Stage Six

By JOSEPH TERRY Today’s News-HeraldMay 18, 2019

It was a slow start for the Arizona anglers on Table Rock Lake on Friday in the opening round of Major League Fishing’s Bass Pro Tour Stage Six in Branson, Missouri.

Lake Havasu City’s Dean Rojas didn’t carry the momentum from his Stage Five win to the Ozarks, reeling in 16 bass weighing 30 pounds, 6 ounces, a relatively light haul compared to some of the monster rounds of the day.Rojas is in 35th place, with some ground to make up to get back to the top 20 and fish the weekend. The top 20 all caught at least 47 pounds with Alabama’s Greg Vinson reeling in 83-6 to lead all anglers in Group A.
