Samsung Experience Tour brings Galaxy pop-up to Avalon in Alpharetta

Alpharetta is on the roster as a stop on the Samsung Experience Tour celebrating “10 Years of Galaxy.”

In a partnership with We’re Magnetic, the pop-up experience is now open, featuring “an interactive installation in Avalon’s Palmer Plaza.”

Palmer Plaza is between Oak Steakhouse and Coletta restaurants.

The activation was “designed to honor 10 years of Galaxy mobile computing devices and the launch of the new Galaxy S10 smartphone.”

The pop-up will be open to the public through May 12.

“Avalon has become a global example for next gen mixed-use development and brands are eager to introduce their experiential concepts to Avalon’s dedicated community,” said North American Properties Partner and Marketing Vice President Liz Gillespie.

“Through the Samsung Experience Tour, we’re excited to continue positioning Avalon as an experiential playground for innovative, forward-thinking brands, and to engage with Atlantans in an exciting and immersive way,” said Gillespie.

Guests can “unlock creativity, culture and engage with the community like never before” with opportunities to “explore multi-sensory installations, live gaming tournaments, local cuisine, performances, workshops and more.”

An additional creator pod will be located in The Plaza in front of Concierge.

Throughout the activation, guests are encouraged to share their photo creativity in the /make studio using

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 has advertised a “revolutionary dual front camera” and “ultra-wide rear camera lens for group shots.”

The “game Studio” will feature crystal clear displays, dramatic lighting with neon accents and state-of-the-art product displays in an effort to showcase the “ultimate gaming experience.”

Participants have the opportunity to “compete with thousands of gamers across the Samsung Experience Tour and even tap into live sessions with top Fortnite players,” said a release.

Guests can also experience Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch Active smart watches at the health and fitness area of the pop-up.

According to the release, “the activation’s Art of Fitness zone” will showcase the ability “to create custom works of art based on individual biometrics.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to test and purchase new mobile devices, receive product support and service from Samsung Care and more.

Atlanta is one of eleven stops on the Samsung Experience Tour, which also includes New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and New Orleans.
