NEW YORK (AP) _ Stocks that were moving substantially or trading heavily Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market.


AOL Time Warner Inc., down 37 cents at $13.84

Morgan Stanley cut the media company’s stock rating to ``equal-weight,″ a day after AOL Time Warner announced a strategy to woo more customers with a new package of music, information, video and shopping services.

Hewlett-Packard Co., down 86 cents at $18.37

The computer maker said 2003 revenue should rise 2 percent to 4 percent from 2000, lower than its previous forecast.

Tenet Healthcare Corp., up 91 cents at $18.75

The hospital chain cut its earnings outlook for the next two years, citing government and company concerns over its aggressive pricing strategies.


Gemplus International S.A., up 81 cents at $2.91

French electronics group Sagem SA said it acquired a 10 percent stake in the European smart-card maker.

Finisar Corp., down 34 cents at $1.15

The optical component maker warned of slightly lower-than-expected sales in the third quarter.

Juniper Networks Inc., down 46 cents at $8.46

Deutsche Bank downgraded the company’s stock to sell from hold.
