Real estate briefs: Medical office deal in west Houston; land sales in Katy, Waller, Angleton

Transwestern Investment Group and Virtus Real Estate Capital have acquired a 114,413-square-foot office building at 2051 S. Greenhouse Road from The D’Agostino Cos. The property will be repositioned as a medical office building. Kevin McConn, Rudy Hubbard and Rick Goings of JLL represented the seller. Justin Brasell of Transwestern represented the buyer.

Sky Light Hospitality has purchased the 52-room Best Western Plus Houston North at 14753 North Freeway from JPM Airtex. Michael Yu, Rahul Bijlani and Tyler Bean of CBRE has arranged the sale.

VEC LP, a local investment group, has purchased 83 acres at Kickapoo Road and FM 2920 in Waller County from Lavon Thomas and affiliates. Jeff Lokey of NewQuest Properties represented the seller. Carlos Izquerido of Bayou City Co. represented the buyer. The buyer has no immediate plans to develop the property, which had been in the Thomas family for more than a century.

Katy Independent School District has purchased 157 acres off Katy Hockley Road north of FM 529 in Katy near the Elyson community. McAlister Real Estate brokered the sale for the seller, Rockspring Capital. Jared and Fred Fargo of Consolidated Property Advisors assisted the buyer.

Mustang Cat has purchased 9.1 acres at County Road 220 near South Velasco in Angleton. Joel Michael of NAI Partners represented the seller, Teal Development. Dan Perrier of Perrier Properties represented the buyer.

IFP-II has purchased a 211,086-square-foot manufacturing building at 12218 Robin Blvd. from Admiral Glass Co. Justin Tunnell of Lee & Associates represented the seller. Joseph Berwick and Richard Quarles, CCIM with JLL represented the buyer.

Houston-based Stanmore Partners has started construction on the Ravella at Sienna Plantation Apartment Homes, a 292-unit project at 5330 Sienna Parkway in Missouri City. The project team includes Steinberg Dickey Collaborative, Haven Design Studio and Hoar Construction.

Health Care Service Corp. has renewed a 48,214-square-foot lease at 1800 W. Loop South. Doug Little, Louann Pereira and Matthew Seliger of Transwestern represented the landlord, KBS Realty Advisors. Sean Reynolds and Garrold Parratt of JLL represented the tenant.

Bayou City Barks has leased 7,590 square feet at 7230 Wynnwood from First Industrial. Steve Biegel of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant. Boyd Commercial represented the landlord.

MidSouth Bank has sold a 3,920-square-foot bank at 11417 Veterans Memorial Drive, just north of the Sam Houston Tollway, to a physician practice management company for conversion into a medical clinic. Cary Latham of Belvoir Real Estate Group represented the seller.
