Liberty Panthers celebrate homecoming 2018 at bonfire

Huntington should beware.

The Liberty Panthers are fired up and ready for their Friday night non-district opponent following a fun homecoming bonfire rally Wednesday night, Oct. 3.

Hundreds of Panther supporters showed up to support the team, band, drill team, and cheerleaders as they presented a brief program.

Everything was centered around the huge bonfire set by Liberty firefighter and EMT James Marino and controlled by the city of Liberty Fire Department.

2018 Liberty Panther Homecoming Court:

The results of the elections are Freshman class Duke and Duchess are Austin Walker and Kylie Bishop.

Sophomore Duke and Duchess are Link Brown and Arimony McQuirter and Amy Bennett (tie).

The Junior class Duke and Duchess are Zachary Kutak and Katlyn Frankum.

The Senior class King candidates are Carter Haidusek, Keaton Parker, Hayden Chapman, Sabastian Urbina and J. J. Slack.

The Senior class Queen candidates are TaNia Donatto, Laura Moorman, Gracie Motschman, Kaleigh Davis and Caitlyn Sepulvado.

The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced on Friday night at halftime during the football game.

The band will present their halftime show at 7 p.m. prior to the game because of homecoming festivities.
