As the enterprise threatscape expands, protecting privileged access also requires a more modern approach. PIM not only covers legacy infrastructure, databases and network services, but also modern use cases such as cloud, Big Data, DevOps and containers. Centrify Zero Trust Privilege is cloud-ready to handle requests from humans, machines and services with dynamic, risk-aware controls to interoperate with a broader ecosystem that includes Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers, DevOps tools, and container solutions.

“Managing PIM with just a password vault no longer works, because we no longer operate in legacy environments,” said Tim Steinkopf, President, Centrify Corp. “Centrify is leading the way to a new approach founded in Zero Trust, granting least privilege through verifying who is making a request, putting context behind that request, ensuring a secure admin environment, with adaptive controls and auditing. We’re proud to be recognized as a leader in the 2018 Forrester Wave for PIM.”

The Forrester Wave™ report identifies the top solution providers in the PIM market, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor. Centrify Zero Trust Privilege Services received the highest possible score in the Privileged Password Safe/Vault, Privileged Session Management, Privilege Delegation and Escalation, Cloud and DevOps Support, SaaS Solution Maturity, and Privileged Threat Analytics Plans criteria, among others.
