Vehicle In Vice President’s Motorcade Involved In Accident

BARRINGTON HILLS, Ill. (AP) _ A vehicle in Vice President George Bush’s motorcade was involved in a minor traffic accident today but the car carrying Bush was not involved and no one was injured, police said.

″It was a minor traffic accident,″ said policeman Jim Page. ″No dignitaries were involved, and there were no injuries.

″The accident did not delay (the vice president), and the motorcade did not stop.″

He said police would make a more complete statement later.

Bush was en route from Chicago to Wheaton College in the western suburb of Wheaton to deliver a commencement address and to receive an honorary degree.
