19-year-old is wounded victim in Danbury shooting
DANBURY — Police are continuing the search and investigation for the gunman in Thursday’s shooting near Danbury Hospital.
The victim, who has not been identified, is recovering with a gunshot wound to the arm that is non-life threatening.
He is a 19-year-old white male, apparently known to his assailant, police said. No other information was available Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened around Hospital and Ellsworth avenues, and the shooter had last been seen Thursday in the area of the Wooster Cemetery, police said.
Officers were looking for a young adult wearing a blue do-rag and a black NorthFace backpack.
