ANNIVERSARY: LaRocques renew vows for 50th anniversary
Hope M. (Fuller) LaRocque and Robert C. LaRocque Jr. of Aiken celebrated their 50th anniversary June 22, 2018, with a vow renewal ceremony attended by family and friends during a recent visit to New Hampshire.
A lovely reception was hosted by their sons, Robert III and Paul, and their significant others at the New Hampshire home of Paul and his fiancée, Rosie.
Hope and Bob were married on June 22, 1968, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield, Mass.
They moved to Aiken in 2009 from Hampton, New Hampshire, which was their home for 15 years. They were both born and raised in Massachusetts and mate in grade school. They raised their two sons in Massachusetts before moving to New Hampshire in 1995.
Bob retired from the City of Newburyport Wastewater Treatment Plant in Newburyport, Mass., in 2009 and Hope retired from Philips Exeter Academy in Exeter, N.H., the same year before moving to their new home in Aiken to enjoy the warmer climate and very mild winters.
They are the parents of sons Robert C. LaRocque III and Paul R. LaRocque, both of New Hampshire. They have two grandsons and a granddaughter, also from New Hampshire.
