PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Assistant coach Bill Musselman of the Portland Trail Blazers was upgraded to fair condition Sunday following a possible stroke.

Musselman collapsed after Thursday night's exhibition game against Phoenix.

Musselman, who joined the Blazers in 1997, took over the head coaching job for the game after Mike Dunleavy was ejected. He was not in the arena when he collapsed.

Musselman's previous NBA experience included head coaching jobs with Cleveland and Minnesota. Collegiately, he has coached at South Alabama, Ashland and Minnesota.
