Letter: Using federal workers as pawns is wrong
Building a wall on the Mexican border is a divided issue. Some support it. Some oppose it.
That’s not the issue. But not paying over 800,000 federal workers is simply wrong.
Forcing a government shutdown as leverage to force the funding for the wall is bad government. Regardless of the position you take on the wall, using federal workers as pawns is unacceptable.
