NWS issues flood warning for Still River in Brookfield
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Still River in Brookfield.
At 4 a.m. Tuesday, the river was at 11.6 feet.
“The river is forecast to reach flood stage by 9 a.m. Tuesday and forecast to continue to rise to near 12.1 feet around 10 a.m. Tuesday. The river is forecast to fall below flood stage after 2 p.m. Tuesday,” the NWS says.
Minor flooding is forecast with water covering the low lands near the river.
