Elizabeth “Libby” Billups Drown of Kenova

ELIZABETH “LIBBY” BILLUPS DROWN, 81, of Kenova, W.Va., mother, grandmother and sister, joined her beloved husband, Billy Jack Drown, in heaven on Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born May 11, 1937, a daughter of the late Harry and Pearl Hodge Billups. She graduated from C-K High School and worked for Dr. John Huntwork as his office manager for many years. In addition to her parents and husband, Libby was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dean Patterson. Libby loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Phillip Rutherford, Roxanne and Mickey Fizer and Liz and Jeb Ryder, all of Kenova; one sister and her husband, Linda Kay and Mike Boshell of Ceredo; and one brother and his wife, David and Dottie Billups of Lexington, Ky.; her grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Elizabeth Rutherford, Dr. Billy and Kelly Rutherford, Brandon and Lori Fizer, Abby and Nate Masters and Cody and Danielle Ryder; her great-grandchildren, Annie, Luke, Liam, Julia, Maddy, Vannah, Laney, Addy, Brooke and Gannon “Bubby”; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends; her goddaughter, Elizabeth Pyles; and her beloved friend, Karen LeMaster. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 13, 2018, beginning at 11 a.m. at Kenova United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with Pastor Jim Richards officiating.
