Police seek sexual assault suspect

January 17, 2019

Fort Wayne Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect they believe was involved in three sexual assaults over two years.

The assaults happened in the early morning hours in the southeast part of Fort Wayne from September 2015 to May 2017, a statement from police said.

The assaults were in the 4500 block of Park Drive and the 5000 and 5200 blocks of Bowser Avenue.

Using the same DNA technology that was used in identifying and capturing John D. Miller, the suspect in the April Tinsley homicide, detectives went to Parabon-Nano Labs to create a DNA Snapshot analysis of a suspect based on his DNA.

Anyone recognizing the suspect in the Snapshot is asked to contact Lorna Russell at 260-427-1372, the detective bureau at 260-427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 260-437-7867.
