Connecticut’s new chief justice says his top priorities include improving public confidence in the judiciary and continuing efforts to make sure the poor, disabled and others have equal access to the justice system. Richard Robinson was nominated by Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and approved by the legislature earlier this month. He succeeded Chase Rogers, who retired in February.
