Akron man accused of selling crack cocaine

HUNTINGTON - An Akron, Ohio, man was arrested on drug-related charges Wednesday at the Coach’s Inn in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue following the execution of a search warrant by the Huntington Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau.

Leo Larue Hardison, 38, was jailed at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities charged him with possession with intent to deliver. Bond was set at $100,000.

According to a news release from HPD, the Special Investigations Bureau executed the warrant following a tip that a man was selling crack cocaine from a room on the third floor of the hotel.

The search yielded 28 grams of crack cocaine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, cash, scales and paraphernalia.

The owner of the hotel was notified of the criminal activity and will be issued a nuisance letter.
