School bus driver accused of touching kindergarten student
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A 57-year-old school bus driver is accused of inappropriately touching a kindergarten student.
The Florida Times-Union reports substitute driver Daniel Allen Tittle is charged with lewd and lascivious conduct stemming from an incident in mid-May on his school bus. He was arrested June 22 and s jailed on a $150,000 bond.
Records show the incident occurred outside Pickett Elementary School. The newspaper reports that principal Carlene Smith sent a letter to parents about the incident.
A video on the bus captured the incident during the morning ride to school. It shows the driver tickling the girl on her chest, sides and back. He is also seen thrusting his pelvic area against her. Authorities say other students were on the bus at the time.
Records don’t list an attorney for him.
