Allison Jensen and Jake Anderson, both of Naperville, were married June 30 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kankakee. The Rev. John Peeters performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Keith and Ann Jensen, of Clifton. The groom is the son of Shannon and Beth Anderson, of Ashkum. The reception was held at Tuscany Falls Banquets.
The maid of honor was Karley Jensen, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Anderson and Mackenzie Ganger, sisters of the groom; and Megan Finan. The flower girl was Jemma Ponton, cousin of the groom.
The best man was Francisco Ramirez. Groomsmen were Kyle Jensen, brother of the groom; and Christian Daniels. The ring bearer was Parker Jensen, cousin of the bride.
The bride’s gown had a sweetheart neckline, delicate lace straps atop a fitted lace bodice, and lace appliques cascaded down the slim skirt. The sheer back was accentuated with lace detailing and a semichapel train.
Allison received her bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University and her master’s degree from North Central College. She is a kindergarten teacher at the Naperville School District. Jake received his bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University and is a financial analyst in Chicago.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
