Wanted Texas Teens Found Dead
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Two teen-age boys suspected of shooting the parents of one were found shot to death alongside a road, police said.
It appeared that Shawn Adam Miller, 16, and his friend and neighbor, 13-year-old Gerald Davis, committed suicide, or one killed the other before shooting himself, Travis County Sheriff Margo Frasier said.
Both boys were shot in the head.
Authorities believe the boys acted alone in killing Miller’s parents, Mark Miller, 49 and his wife, Linda, 42, sometime Sunday, Frasier said.
A note expressing remorse was found in Shawn Miller’s pocket but its contents have not been disclosed. Who shot the parents and who wrote the note was unclear, Frasier said.
The teen-agers were found dead Monday night in neighboring Bastrop County, about 200 feet from Mark Miller’s station wagon parked on the side of a road.
