RAPID CITY, S.D. _ A Hermosa pastor’s son who is accused of running a six-figure fraud scheme came under investigation at least 10 years ago and allegedly fled to Guatemala for four years to avoid prosecution, according to recently unsealed court records. David Astin was apprehended in Houston in October. He has pleaded not guilty to 21 counts of federal wire fraud. UPCOMING: 300 words.
