Elderly gardener, two others found dead in Tioga home

Three people were found dead in a rowhouse in the Tioga section of North Philadelphia a few blocks west of Temple University Hospital, by a visiting relative, around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, police said. Homicide detectives were investigating.

Relatives identified the dead as Warren Harrison, 91, owner of the two-story house at 1940 West Tioga St., on the corner with 20th St.; Kadijah Abdallah (previously known as Astra Cottle), who neighbors and relatives said also lived there; and Earl Cottle, Khadijah’s brother. The deaths left relatives in shock, said Chris Byard, a brother-in-law of the dead woman.
